If y’all remember a few weeks back Tiff and I and our friend Amy over at Familiabencomo sponsored the first Serendipity Bake Off contest. What fun it was! And what creative people there are out there! And Tiff and I learned that the kitchen can be used to make something other than soap! (Our families thank you!)

We sent the winner a lovely You Go, Girl! travel kit in the Honey Almond & Oatmeal scent. So we just got this lovely email from our winner, Marie over at the blog Prouditaliancook:

So folks, we really do love to shower (hardy-har) our contest winners with bubbly prizes! I’m sure that Tiff and I will cook up a new contest sometime soon, so keep this in mind. We told you our soaps are wildly lucky!

We’re starting off March with a ‘bang’. Or, make that a ‘bling’!

Since realizing that we were ripping off J.Lo’s makeup artist by using the name ‘Body Bling’ for our Whipped Shea Butter, we decided it’s better to change the name than get sued.

So, we are in need of a product name as fabulous as our whipped shea butter, formerly known as Body Bling. This is your chance to help us come up with something brilliant, catchy, and fun…just like us! We only have 30 days to do this, so take a minute to post what you think our heavenly shea butter should be called.

Hey y’all! The Soapchix wish everyone an amazing holiday filled with family, friends, naps, exploding hams, mountain retreats, foster bunnies, laughter, indigestion, and playtime in the snow. That’s just a little bit of what we experienced, and it was wonderful!

No turkeys were harmed in Soapchix Tiff’s celebrations…not since my youngest became BFF with one on our family trip to Jamestown, Va. this past October:

All these Christmas Gift Shows that we’ve been doing have left us with quite a cheery holiday spirit. So much so, in fact, that at the Utah Family Gift Show we decided to give away one of our fabulous, amazing, astounding, luxurious “You Go, Girl!” kits to one of our fabulous, amazing, astounding, luxurious customers. Ash and I just drew the name from our list and have sent the lucky gal an email letting her know she’s the proud owner of a smorgasborg of our travel sized bestsellers: A “Body Bling Whipped Shea Butter”, a “Gimme Some Sugar Body Scrub”, a “Honeybuns Bath and Body Oil” and 2 cute soaps. All in one convenient travel kit! Can it GET any better?!

It felt so good that we’re doing it again…this time for all you folks out there who weren’t able to attend any of the shows. Inspired by the ‘pick your own’ farms that are opening their doors to summer fruit lovers (us!) we have ‘picked’ 3 amazingly fruity scents that would be perfect as a soap/scrub/shea butter.  Problem is, we can only use one.
